I know that some of the cleaning agents in gas like, shell v power can make apex seals brittle. What do you think about this new stuff? http://www.marketwatch.com/story/shell-launches-new-fuel-no-other-gasoline-protects-better-2012-03-05

"June 4, 2002 - ALBERTA, Calgary -- Shell Canada was forced to apologize to its customers after an additive in the company's gasoline was found to damage car engines. "We extend our sincere apology for any inconvenience this problem may have caused," said Terry Blaney, Shell Canada's vice president of marketing." I guess I should have said "may" cause brittle seals. I read some where on here that gasolines with high amounts detergent are not good for the rotary

And how would you know the exact physical condition of your Apex seals without tearing the engine apart? Lol

Cleaning agents in gasoline is one of the reasons why I religiously premix. So, if the gasoline actually washes off some of the oil injected by the OMP, it gives me a little extra peace of mind to know I'm adding extra oil in there.

It's a marketing ploy you guys. There's nitrogen enriched air being fed in with the fuel. Let's not get too frisky here.

The rotary can run on anything that burns. These blends for high octane gases won't harm our engine.

Stop babying your engine and start zoom zooming. Baby the paint or interior or your tires if you want but not your engines.
