Question BORLA Question

just had the borla exhaust system installed on wednesday. gotta question, sometimes when i'm driving i can kinda smell a burning odor, as if the gas is maybe leaking or not burning properly? is there some kind of break in period when you buy a new exhaust for the metal to settle in or something? inputs appreciated thanks guys

it does take a while for the smell to go away. you'll smell gas a lot, but it'll gradually dissipate.

Yes, I had the same burning smell when I first got it. I think it took a few days to completely disappear, maybe even a week.

Yup, the burning smell from my new exhaust lasted two days. It's normal.

There will be a smell for the first 2-3 days. After that it will settle down. Also the sound the exhaust makes will mellow out after a while.

When I first had mine installed, not only did it smell, I had huge clouds of white smoke everywhere. I had to stop and check to make sure my car wasn't on fire.
