Hey guys, I am not only new to the forum, but I am new to the RX-8 and it's wonderful wankel world. I drove my buddy's '09 RX-8 the other day and fell in love. I am now looking to buy my own and it just so happened that someone I know is selling an '04 that has about 60k miles on it. The engine was replaced about a year ago and this is where I start to have questions. I know that this year ('04) had a few problems here and there and I assume that this is the reason why the engine was replaced. Should I be concerned about the car otherwise? I assume it's a good thing that the engine has already been replaced because then it just means that I don't have to. I know that the warranty goes up to 100k miles and if there are any problems I can have it taken care of, but is there anything that I should look for the next time I test drive it?
