Introduction and seeking advice
Hey guys , I've been lurking this forum for a while now and I finally pulled the trigger yesterday. But first before you say anything, yes , I have read over and over all the new owners stickies so I know what I am getting into
So the car is a 2004 6 speeds with 89k miles , the owner did provide an extensive list of service records but it does have some problem. Oh yeah, i was not able to get a compression test due to the clutch being out but I got the car for a steal and also if the engine goes out , I can always get it rebuilt since that was my first plan anyway ( I'm definitely going to get one done after I fix the car though )
1) So back at the clutch, the problem with is it's stuck to the floor and I have to manually pull it back up with my hand, I've read up about the pedal bracket issue but I don't think it's the case because my pedal doesn't move side to side so it must be related to the hydraulic fluid system which I'm planning to replace the slave and master cylinder, what do you guys think?
2) the other problem is the check engine light is on : code P2259
Disclaimer: I have only started working on car for couple of years, there might be something I don't get right away so be patient with me and I'm willing to learn

just an update for everyone:
so I changed out the master and slave cylinder and that fixed the clutch problem, replaced the air solenoid and got the code out of the way as well but I encountered another problem
my driver side low beam light is not working (Xenon equipped), besides that every other lights work as it should, switched the bulb and with the known working bulb from the passenger side and it still not working, also checked the 15amp fuse and it's still good so i am not sure what the problem is
I searched a little bit and it said it could be the headlight ballast, what do you guys think?

finally got my compression test using twisted rotor tester and these are the results
rotor 1 : 90psi, 93psi, 95psi at 203 rpm
rotor 2 : 93psi, 86psi, 85psi at 200 rpm
first off I'm getting a new starter to increase that cranking rpm but I'm really worried about rotor 2 with those gaps
rotor 1 : 90psi, 93psi, 95psi at 203 rpm
rotor 2 : 93psi, 86psi, 85psi at 200 rpm

Uh, that cranking speed is really low. You should be cranking at 250 roughly. Edit - Just saw the fact you are getting a new starter, I need to get one as well. I'll do some hunting and reading to see what I can dig up about why those two faces are low.
I mean, depending on your normalization for sea level (unless your tester does that automatically) You're still fine.
