that darn intermitent long crank to start is back!

so i noticed after driving and i let the car sit for a good hour or 2 hours...when i go back to start it 1 out of 30 rate it will take about 5 to 8 cranks before starts, cold starts is between 1 to 3 cranks to start...

the car was at 51,000 miles when i got it and compression test was green at the high 8's...now im at 59,00 miles and i did regular oil changes.

spark plugs was said yo be replaced by the owner when it hit 40,000 miles but not sure about the coils. I just recently replaced the battery with an Optima Yellow Top.

like i said its very random and i thought when i replaced the battery it went away...but i guess it still there...

when it happens its not like the car is struggling to fire up...it just takes long cranks but when it fires everything is fine...

i dont think its a usual hot start issue...

any orher ideas?
