Mazdaspeed rear diffuser - slightly damaged
Hey guys, just gauging interest right now for an authentic MS rear diffuser that has a little damage to it. As you can see from the pics, it is cracked on the left side, on the exhaust opening. There is also a bulge in the plastic just under the crack, that was caused by a piece of the stock bumper pushing on it from beneath.
I had similar damage to my front bumper a while back that was perfectly repaired, so I believe this can be as well. Unfortunately, the body shop tossed all the hardware for the diffuser when they removed it. Still can't believe they did that. There is a bracket on the very left and right side still installed, but it's missing the 3 center brackets. So, this may be good for a project, or for someone who already has one of these, and needs a replacement. I searched and searched for a hardware kit for this part, but Mazda does not sell one. I even called Mazdaspeed and they could not get it for me. The brackets are a very basic shape however, and could be made using the existing brackets as a guide.
I can take more pics upon request, if anyone needs a pic or 2 of it off the car. The rest of the diffuser is solid and fits like it did when new. It's painted Titanium Gray on the sides. Oh and I really can't ship this too easily or cheaply, so local pickup is preferred.
Feeler price is $250. Located near Baltimore.
