    Usually the position switch is somewhere in the middle....you should have been able to turn the bladey thing back somewhat and put the position switch back on...It's really difficult to explain....You could try and loosen the position switch a bit and turn it a bit and try that....reset the ECU in between and see if the CEL comes back. Otherwise you need a different pump...maybe try and buy a used one from someone trustworthy and try that.

    Like I said...it's kind of difficult to reset. I removed the MOP and wound the pump back to zero...than put the switch back in the same spot it was...so mark it before you take it off

    It worked twice that way for about a year or so in between....and then it didn't work after that..so not sure 100% whats up with this.

    Used ones should work fine...should be able to get one for about $150 or so off the forum
    Maybe check with Vindictive..I think he's doing a part out right now

    The pump switch setting doesn't always seem to make sense I had that work a few times...but it also didn't fix my problem the last time. The pump spec'd out great with both the windings and the switch according to the meter..but it didn't work....replacing it did...so don't really have an answer for you. If the pump is the problem...moving the switch like I did might fix it..you really dont have anything to loose
