No love for me in that story. I've attended 2 Daytona Corral's and it's a 16-18 hr drive for me (depending on traffic and my speed through Georgia). I've been to 5 in total.

We should have the full schedule by the end of this month or early November. I know that the Daytona is the January 26-28, 2012. Mazda-Laguna Raceway is July 13-15 I believe and thast Mid-Ohio is being moved back to June.


We will post the schedule as soon as we receive it and wil have Daytona info up by this weekend!

I got the e mail from the media department yesterday, it was delayed for two weeks. The interview took place the Monday after Mid-Ohio, spent about 45 minutes with Josh and JJ of Grand-Am. I know that Mazda is happy, as well as the teams and Castrol too! We are loking to have at minimum, 6-8 events with Castrol coming out with dyno and the whole package, just like @ Mid-Ohio. Here is what we are looking at as far as the Castrol Corrals

1. VIR
2. Lime Rock Park
3. Mid-Ohio
4. Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca
5. Road America
6. 6 hours @ WGI*
7. New Jersey*
8. Barber*

* depends on ticket sales.

I got a survey about the Mid-Ohio race. I gave Grand-Am & Mid-Ohio high marks, but expressed my displeasure of the Saturday races and pairing them with a Nascar event on Sunday.

this is what I'm looking forward to. I've never been to a race and I'm looking forward to checking it out at Laguna Seca.

I know there's a group of us all wanting to make the trek up North for that event.

We're working on pricing and we are trying to get Castrol roll out the "Corral Package" at this event. Will keep you guys updated as to our progress.
