Mark has a part-out thread in the parts section. It's a few weeks old now so it's buried a few pages back. Thread Link
I contacted him about a left-side exhaust shroud on March 30/31st. We agreed on a price and shipping, and I paid him on the 31st.
4/3 - He says he's shipping that day. Tuesday, second day after the weekend, no big deal. He also sent a picture in that message to verify the correct part. I replied within a few hours to verify that he had the right part.
No pm's exchanged between.
4/6 - He says again that he's shipping that day. (Friday)
4/11 - He says that he accidentally sent the part to the wrong person, but they were going to drop-ship it directly to me.
In that same message he brought up another part i'd asked about earlier and offered a discount because of his errors. I replied and said I still wanted that part (a trunk panel to be specific) and also asked about a few components of the Bose system.
He replied same-day and said he had all the components I needed and asked me to make an offer. He stated "Make me an offer and pay what shipping turns out, and i'll ship asap." So I replied and made an offer.
That was the 11th.
Not a message since. I haven't gotten my shroud yet either. I checked his profile before going to bed on the 11th and saw that he had been on since my last reply. Checked again on the 15th and he's been on since. Checked again today and he's been on today as well.
I do understand people being busy, which is why I haven't made an issue of this sooner....I even take into account that he may have a high-volume of messages to get to, from having a part-out thread. And I definitely didn't lowball him either.
But i'm not just inquiring about parts and wasting anyone's time. I have money sitting in my account, JUST for the purpose of buying the parts I need. I need these things before I can sell my car.
/rant. I know it's probably longer than a typical good/bad guy thread, but it is what it is.

Hey I have your part... I ordered the Information Display from him and he sent me your exhaust shroud by mistake. As soon as I receive the part I ordered from him I will ship this onto to you. I am hoping it arrives soon as I told him about his mixup last wednesday. He did send me the money to ship this and even if he fails to send me what I oredered I will ship this onto you by Monday.

And waiting for my part. But sure, maybe he's just busy or lazy. At least making this thread no longer has me wondering when to expect the shroud to come in.

OK it was last Wednesday the 11th when I spoke with this guy and told him about his mixup sending me the wrong part. He replied that he was sorry for the problem, sent me some $$ to reship Awptik his part and said he was immediately sending me the part I originally ordered (radio display). Now it is the 19th and now answer to my messages asking were my part is?????
Awptik I will ship your part on Monday. I am giving this guy one last chance to contact me by Friday or Paypal dispute is coming...

I have contacted the person whose part you sent me by mistake and will ship his part to him on Monday. I understand that everyone gets busy but I paid for this on the 5th and still have not received my part and no communication in over a week...
