I agree. Brice from Race Roots is a great vendor. All of the mods on my 04 RX8 when I had it came from Brice. His prices are great and he does honest business. I got a defective GTspec air diversion panel, and he sent out a UPS pick up slip right away, as well had the new panel shipped to me in less than 2 weeks. Thanks for tracking down all the Mazda factory hardware for the suspension as well. bump for Brice.

Brice(raceroots) is a shady guy
I'm sorry all but i didn't get the same affect dealing with brice (race roots). I ordered there LS2 ignition kit for my 8. I was building up a turbo kit and other mods for my car. for the ignition system i chose Race Roots (big mistake on my part). Well I ordered the kits months ago, it came in and i have a mechanic install it for me. 2 on the 4 coils were misfiring. I contacted brice about it and he wanted to talk to my mechanic to see if he can figure things out(thats all fine). Well i get a call from brice and he says to mail "it" to some mailing address he gave me (that is also fine), so I mailed the kit. Well 2-3 weeks go by and i contact Brice on the status of the coil kit and he said he will get in contact with them. Another week or 2 goes by and i call him up about the kit and he says that the manufacturer is giving him issues so he will mail me new ones( that sounded great bc I have waited almost 2 months to have my turbo kit installed and i was waiting on these coils. ok, well the box gets to my house and it is to small tobe the coil kit. I open it up and there r only 2 coils in there. I call brice up and say all i got were 2 coils and he said that is what my mechanic said was wrong. I dont know what brice and my mechanic talked about, when u order an item and the seller says to mail "it" out what does that mean to a consumer? So, I mailed the whole kit bc i was not told to mail the 2 faulty coils(i was just told the kit was bad). well then more weeks go by and I'm trying to figure out what can we( me and brice) do bc im out a kit and $530. its been months since I bought the kit and i have nothing to show for it. the a few mean emails between me and brice bc he was insisting that this is all my fault and he cant do anything about it. I contacted paypal and my bank about this but bc i was so patient with brice and waited for things tobe fixed im out a coil it and $530 + the shipping to his manufacturer. Sorry for the long story but Me and everyone that I know WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM!!

Not as drastic as Gil's plight, but I had a similar (albeit minor) gaffe with Race Root's disinterest in fixing a situation. I got over it since I was only out at most 75 to 100 bucks, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents since Gil is in the heavy minority.
I paid generously for some parts and threw in extra to make sure I got them to my door by the end of the work week (it was Tuesday), but they never came. Tracking # was blank, e-mailed Brice and he blamed the courier. Well, whatever, all I really wanted was a refund on the extra shipping, but my follow up e-mail wasn't returned, so I moved on. I had lift time and access to the proper tools scheduled that weekend, so I lost out on that, not to mention the ire of the person doing me a favor. That was the only thing that peeved me, really.
Also, I was surprised they actually delivered the package cause by the time it arrived to my door the entire bottom was soaked and melting through from oil and other liquids from the parts. Not docking any points cause of the presentation cause we're talking car parts here, but damn, what a mess.
I know nothing of their past, though. Overall he seemed like a helpful person, communication otherwise was pretty good. Of course, everyone has their own experiences that lead to differing opinions. If I needed something he had, I'd probably buy from him again. I hope it works out for you if you speak the truth.
