Hey that Evo looks pretty good. Never liked the bug eyed look of the wrx. And raw power isn't everything. I'd say the evo VIII is my favorite car, second to the RX-8 of course.

here's a thought for you,
I know a guy who runs in the national rally championship as a privateer. He has just given up on the Evo,
(he has two, a 5 and a 6 each set up for distinct surface performance, tarmack / gravel, each worth around £50k for medium turbo motors with launch control and a few other toys)
replacement car? he's just bought a prodrive WRC spec impreza for more than my house is worth.
interesting link? prodrive are organising the UK performance coaching experience, wonder if they intend to turn their hand to tuning the '8, facinating prospect.
ps. in the uk the Evo is substantially dearer
