I saw that as well WFFI, its a bit surprising actually.

Last year was understandable, these cars are an incredible engineering feat just to pull off and in fairness with an all new an power unit, that's quite a hill to climb. Alonso is clearly less than thrilled, understandably so, hopefully they don't loose him.

One would think Honda has the technical resources, engineering prowess and plenty of capital to be only slightly off the pace of the others. That said, although I'm not a Honda guy I do hope they get it turned around and sorted sooner than later.

You going to the race at COTA this year WFFI?

I wish I was. 2015 I went to petit le mans for full 4 days (Thankfully I was in an RV and avoided much of the cold rain) but I dont think I can swing much in the way of races this year b/c it's a little to soon to take our kid to the track. (She turned 9 months today). Next year we hope to take her to some.

I really hope the new F1 owners can add another race or 2 to NA.

Very embarrassing situation for Honda. This will be a devastating defeat if they don't achieve a competitive engine.

Mercedes and Ferrari are looking like they could provide a battle worth watching and I would not discount Red Bull or Williams for a second.

Will Bottas cause heartache for Hamilton or will Hamilton put a proper spanking on him?

Can't wait! Liberty Media may be just what the doctor ordered

Paul.

So, Australia was decent although with little overtaking. Off we go to China and it should be interesting to see of Mercedes can recover or if Ferrari have figured it out finally.

It was a refreshing change to see Ferrari up front and with quite a strong pace as well. The strategies were exciting to watch unfold, it was a hand very well played for Marenello. Well done!

Huge fan of the technology going on here personally. Multiple systems integrated and working together and the countless possibilities of how to apply them is a unique balance of not just how much power to utilize, but how to utilize the power units abilities for the given day...love it!!

The mention that the drivers abilities to change mapping from the cockpit in real time is gone will be a interesting twist for the drivers from last year. This reduces the ability of feeding the guy behind you to the lions to suit the moment.

On to China!!!

There seems to be much more excitement this year, so far. The relationship between Seb and Lewis is interesting as well; a lot of respect for one another.

I agree Paul, it is significantly more interesting than the clinic Mercedes was holding the last couple of years. lol It will be interesting to see how the dynamic between Vettel and Hamilton plays out after this last weekend, the FIA has just announced further review of Vettels actions.

Nice to see the diversity on the podium and how about Stroll?
