I only made it on Sunday (we went to the Rock the Bells music festival on Saturday in San Francisco) but it was a great experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone remotely interested in car racing. Since it was at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, there was a lot of Mazda representation, including a big tent celebrating the rotary's 40th anniversary.

Anyway, enough chit chat, here are the pics from walking around (the racing pics will follow in a second post to this thread)

We went to San Francisco to see Rage Against the Machine again (we were really disappointed in their reunion show at Coachella earlier this year). We didn't realize that Monterey was going on the same weekend until a month before the trip, so it was mostly an afterthought. After all the fun I had at the race, I am definitely take a week off in the next couple years to do the whole concourse experience.
