Mazda 4th says Consumer Reports

According to the new list, this year the top five are

1. Honda
2. Toyota
3. BMW
4. Mazda
5. Tie- Nissan
Volkswagon

Good Job Mazda

Interesting to note on the Domestic Side of things. Ford has had what id call a huge jump in rating
Detroit car companies had among the lowest overall scores, but there were significant gains, the magazine said. The percentage of Ford (F, Fortune 500) vehicles to earn the magazine's recommendation jumped to 64% this year from 54% last year. 93% of Ford's vehicles have shown average or better reliability in Consumer Reports' owner surveys, a large increase from 63% last year.

I'm kinda surprised to see BMW up there, and to an extent, VW.

If there were a RX-8 Mazdaspeed, Mazda would have been third.

How did Nissan get 5th place? Every Nissan i've been (new Altima, Murano, G35, FX) in has creaky cheap plastic that seems to fall apart with ease.

How much is CR paid by Honda? If anybody has ever read one of their Honda reviews, there is no doubt that they are paid, but I'm wondering how much it is that they get paid.

I've always thought Mazda made a durable/well built car.
Congratulations Mazda!
