12 Honda's stolen and mint RX7 wrecked on video. Englishtown Honda Day

taken from rx7club (95nracer)

I can't believe all that happened at Etown during this event. ****ing thieves.
More on it here:

The vid of the RX7 getting wrecked. Stupid *** in a big car not paying attention and speeding slams into a 3rd gen RX7.

That car, looked like a taxi or something, must been going hella fast. Guess the other cars going both ways at like 5-10 mph was not a good enough hint to slow down a bit.

And not a word from the driver of the boat...

After having my type-r stolen a couple months ago, I can sympatize with their anger.

It's supremely frustrating knowing that there are little to no penalties for the people doing this type of thing.

It's funny, because a couple weeks ago a car thief backed over and killed a police officer near me. Who would have thought a little **** ant car thief would move on to bigger crimes? Everyone seemed so shocked. Yet, when I gave the police a cell phone the theifs left in my car, they couldn't even be botherd to follow up on it.

It pays to steal cars and car parts these days. The risk vs reward is heavily favoured towards reward.

sounds about right, my cousin had his cbr stolen a couple years back and the good cops of irvine, california couldn't be bothered with investigating. so my cousin came back with the e-listings of his bike being parted out (serial numbers in the pictures matched up with his paperwork), and even then, the police were hesitant about pursuing the case.

I give the Rx-7 driver credit for restaining himself and not beating the **** outa the owner of the car. Guess he knew he would and just jumped on his cell phone.

That and the Civic's getting stolen thats wow... maybe 1-5 ok its bad but 10-12 thats wow.. alarms with the thousands these kids put into these cars you'd think they'd think first about protecting 'em.

damn, i'm not sure i would have been as composed as that guy. I would have been looking at 25-life or worse.
Carrying a 4 step to fire gun in florida is legal, but the use I would have put it to ... not so much.

10 to 12 hondas, well, those thieves got some gajones.

I learned not to take a car to any events because of this, or at the very least make sure I have a good alarm system in place.

poor poor RX-7.

This is pretty amazing that they were able to steal so many Honda's at once. I can't believe the car club left their cars unattended for long enough for that to happen...

"DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU JUST WRECKED?!"

The other driver was just sitting there with his tail between his legs.

edit: Looking at the video...I wonder if the guy in the boat was trying to show off or something, because it's just all of a sudden you hear the engine. The driver of the rx-7 says "Some kid..."

i was actually at that... we left pretty early though. ryan was having a crappy day and it just wasn't that great of a show. a bunch of ****** were there... one guy dropped a glass bottle from the top of the stands and nearly hit a kid in a stroller. people racing down the show aisles b/c they didn't get enough time trials... idk. i don't have any intention on really going back.
