I saw that at a Bar the day before I was going with my RX-8 to an HPDE. I hate seeing things like that when I am going to a track.

My brother is an EMS and he's shown me pictures of worse at much lowers speeds.

He works in a college town with lots of 18 wheeler traffic.

Really those cars ended up pretty good relative to the speeds they were going.

Yeah, there's some really bad ones deep into "bad wreck" section. Some of the 18 wheeler one's are really scary and after looking at some of these in the past, I will never position myself between two big trucks if possible. I think they were shooting for highest speed and cost on the top ten list. I'm actually impressed w/ how some of those cars held up.

This thread reminds me of UTI (universal tech. institute....not urinary tract infection.. thanks) lol.
but i remember that they show us some CRAZYYY car accident photos and videos before the weekend started and that of course was FRIDAY of every week. the reason: Almost EVERYONE used to race to go back home or to wherever they were going after class was done..
scary shiit...does make you think twice before doing something retarded....
but during my 1 1/2 year in there, there was 4 major accidents that were students in UTI.

One of the accidents of the 4 major ones was this one Peruvian kid that had Passat Turbo fully built pushing 460HP, clean ride and done up right.. but unfortunatley after school was finished, he Raced a nissan 240sx on RT.202 {major highway in pennsylvania} and blew a red light going 125 mph according to the newspaper and tboned another UTI students car that was going to Afternoon class and killed the other driver instantly.
My classmate with the Passat ended up having brain damage and was paralyzed.
it shouldve been the other way around. and for the guy in the 240sx got kicked out of school, dont know what happened to him. probably living with hard learned guilt-

UTI of EXTON in pennsylvania HAS THE WORST REPUTATION!!! Impossible to find housing if you say "I go to UTI".

I'm glad UTI showed those Videos of car crashes at the end of the week, and im sorta glad that this accident happened only to a cartain extent,& GOD Bless... but the results to it ended more than half the street racing in school and the school funded in Friday night Race Wars at a Quarter mile track, which almost all attended.

No, it is what happens when people have no idea what their limits are, or what the limits of their equipment are. Speed has never killed any driver. Suddenly becoming stationary is what gets you.

If you're going to speed, speed safely. Do it when the traffic isn't heavy, and there's no one around.

Notice that the link's description all say "lost control" or in one case a tire blowout. No one gets hurt from speed.
