RX8Club Shannonville Pro Track Lapping day Friday July17!!
Update June 26 WE ARE FULL!!
The top 17 people have paid Al and the track is covered.
We are only going to run with a MAX of 20, so there are 3 more spots available. If you want one of the spots it is first come first serve, meaning whoever pays first gets the spots. You will send payment $121 to me (via email transfer) and I will divide everything up, put the excess money in envelopes for everyone that paid and hand them out as soon as we all get to the track.
This is the fairest way, less confusing, and in case some decides not to show up.
This is how the next lap day is going to be run as well

Another track day to sign up for via post yourself on the list.
Because the track gets booked so quickly we need sign-up asap.
We will run the Shannonville PRO track on Friday July 17th 5:30 - 8:30 IF we get 20+ ppl. It is basically $650+gst/hour, so we will look for 20-24 guys for booking. Basically with 20 guys $35/hour or $103/each. We are doing 3 hours of lapping. Anything over 20 guys obviously this will reduce everyone's costs.
Same as last time. Al and a few of his friends for some intro lapping, learning lines in groups, then open lapping and if you want to pick up an instructor for extra help they will be there to help.
Since we seem to be doing more and more lapping...Al mentioned we should start looking at getting helmets. More than just a few ppl went off last time. Safety first!

How much experience is necessary? Because I have none whatsoever... I do not want to be the slow moving vehicle that is a hazard to everyone else. It definitely sounds like a lot of fun, but I am not sure if I would want to go as fast as everyone else... Any thoughts/input?
I am interested, but do not want to be the obstacle on the track.

As the others said.. we're all still learning how to drive the car (well.. with the exception of maybe Nate that is).. it's a good time and a relaxed atmosphere.

^ Don't see that happening. If you have to commit right away, looks like we will be at a limit of 12 again. To avoid the quick sign up requirement, let's try and line up a date in August sooner, rather than later and get them to hold the date for at least 2 weeks so we can get more sign ups.
