Question Motor Mounts

Hello,

Has anyone in Canada have to replace there motor mounts outside of warranty? If so how much did it cost.

I have an 04 that is just outside of warranty and want to get the mounts replaced as I am now expereincing a little toiugh idle which I believe led to a lose radio connection.

Well the dealer will be replacing them for free. Great news considering it would have costed over 1k to replace and install.

Yeah I checked out retail pricing on the mounts...and it's rediculous!!

I need a passenger side rubber mount for mine...the install wouldn't be a problem, just the part is waaaay too much money for what it is.

I guess there is nothing aftermarket availible is there...hmmm maybe thats something we should look at producing, maybe more solid stronger rubber mounts. Would there be any interest?

Judging by the amount of 04's that have this problem it's a great idea.

I'll bet most o4's have this problem. But have grown to except it.
I always suspected my car had it. But it was confirmed when my radio wiring came lose--I guess 4 years of driving with bad mounts had its toll on the connection.
I can't wait to see how it rides after installation
