Wink

Well, I don't know about that, but I've also been driving for almost 25 years with no (knock on wood) accident.

Cheers

well guys when I talked to ICBC they said that new cars are generally more expensive in their first year of introduction because there aren't any data or stats on replacement costs, theft rate, etc. The ford focus when it came out the first year was ridculously expensive as well (for a car that price). so our rx8s rates may come down next year

here it is straight off the ICBC site

u have to HAVE atleast a class 7 N to get the 5 percent discount...

every year after that it follows

1 st year 5% <----basic 5% <-optimal
2nd 10%<----basic 10% <-optimal
3rd 15%<----basic 15% <-optimal
4th 20%<----basic 20% <-optimal
5th 25%<----basic 30% <-optimal
6th 30%<----basic 35% <-optimal
7th 35%<----basic 40% <-optimal
8th 40%<----basic 42% <-optimal

NOW Ur a roadstar

9th - 17th 43%<----basic

9th - 17th ranges from 46% to 53% for optimal

the %'s are different for basic insurance and optimal insurance
