Couldn't sleep last night and went for a drive up our wonderful Sea to Sky highway at 12am.
On the way back, just as the highway ends and the speed limit turns back to 50kph, I see a cop car in the middle of the road with its lights on.
First reaction was oh cccrap, how fast was I going? I didn't pass any crown vics did I?
Then when I stopped and rolled down my windows, the officer asked me if I had any drinks. I said no, and expected some question about how fast I was going.
But I never expected him to say "Okay, go have a nice drive!"
Of all the cars I've ever been pulled over in, I've never had or imagined a police officer tell me that LOL
guess cops also knows how irrestible the throttle and corners calls to you on an empty mountain highway :D

LOve it. I told my wife that the first time I get pulled over I'm going offer to let the cop take er for a ride so that he can understand what we're up against terying to stay within the boundaries.
