2600 installed? If then, I will think about it...
Does it include EDFC? What is the spring rate, standard F7 R5 kg (if I remember collectly)?
PM me with the dealer and name and I will find him next week.
EDIT: Tell you what people quote me $3K installed out of their head. 2600 is not supercheap without install...
Come on convince me.

thats Tein man. who quote is Tein Flex too.
The spring rate is what you say.
what i can say is to fit at my friend's place Hyper Tech is the best place to fit Tein. they do racing car. there.
Best GTR tuner.

EDFC, Electronic Damper Force Control.
The controller that install on the dash to control the damper rate, with a touch of a button.
No.... hmmm
Any chance for a discount, then?
Someone quote me Tein Flex for $3K and Tein superstreet for $2.5K installed but not sure about warranty.

No discount man.
and no EDFC
but i think you can get that. just more money!
its up to you man. just my friend have this in stock. and want to sell them.
So let me know la.
You can also fit at other place. but if something goes wrong. then will have to see if its the fitting or Tein itself.

Wheel... Flex... Wheel... Flex.... ahhhhhhhhhhhh :D
I am not sure yet! Let me cool down and have a beer first.
Hypertex is the one selling it right? Is that a shop* selling it right?
Very tempting.... I need a price for fitting first.

After a beer I have to ask a question:
Is it stupid to have the car not lowered with an aftermarket suspension? The reason I ask is my garage is at an angle and I could not lower my car without scraping the bottom plate.
I can lower my car during track day but does that mean wheel alignment is a must then?
That is my only concern otherwise I will have my coilover long time ago... but this time I found it hard to pass a reasonable deal
I think I need a second beer :D

I don't know where is the problem with the ride height, if you install a adjustable coilover. Off course Tein flex is the one of this kind. According to the "Hyper REV news mook vol96-RX8", the recommended ride height with Teins is front -20mm rear -15mm, It's hard to image such decrease in clearance would scrape the bottom. In Taiwan, we have to park our cars in underground garage in most conditions, but the ride height is not really bothering. Tein is a good choice but may be a little "soft" for track use. One of my friend once installed a Tein flex but then replaced it by a mazdaspeed one. If you consider of track racing, why not go with Ohlins? I installed it at 2 months ago and I'm very happy with it. The ride is more comfort than the stock one with front -20 mm rear -15 mm (the recommended value is front -35 rear -30), the damper rate is front 8 rear 6 (there's 1-20 stages for adjustment). This setting help me increase corner speed at least10 km/hr.

You have no idea Zaku.
The garage is so stupid and set in an angle that it is ALREADY scraping the bottom at stock height. I have put a ramp inside the garage to lift the front wheel up to get clearance.
Yes I agree Ohlins is very very nice and congrad on that. ELITE Ohlins, together with Bilstein, is a very nice German bland adjustable shocks. Who use Ohlin in Japan, R Magic does.
I actually want to have the Fujita Engineering shock in the first place. They are custom made by HKS. But I just can't get pass Tein Flex with EDFC. Anyhow with the garage situation now. I either have the car set at stock height, which I gather is stupid, or leave the car at my parent's place for the rest of the year.
I prob will give it a pass until I come back to town later this year.
Sorry ELITE and thanks for the great offer.

suspension is all about geometry of arcs an while you can lower cars a little without doing too much to the intended camber and toe changes, roll centres etc excessive lowering can hurt handling. the adjustable platforms on the teins are for corner-balancing not just ride height.

and not too sure about the fitting cost.
but i think all up will be less than 10k.

Your going to need a very good tuner to get the Greddy kit tuned right. If you look in the states Greddy are actually supplying one of the guys on the forums map as their maps were not working on all the 8's and even on the one's it seemed to do alright there was still issues.

Bottom line: You need someone who knows how to tune E Manage well enough, possibly know Japanese and be able to deal with the tissue when it comes. Good luck.
It is not that hard. I am sure someone in Clayton knows Japanese. Whether he is good doing the turbo I don't know.
