Front undercarriage
Hi all...I've tried looking up photos on the web and consulted the manual for other pics of this particular issue but have come up luckless so far. The other day, when walking uphill towards the car, I saw something which concerned me...
I'm not sure how you describe this part of the car but it's the lowest part of the front bumper, just below the air intake that they fit the number plate on. There doesn't seem to be a grill of any sort preventing debris from blowing into it so I discovered, in amongst a whole bunch of leaves and twigs, half a block of the styrofoam material they use to pack fragile things in boxes. Not sure if that would have affected the car at all but it was concerning all the same. Question: was there ever a grill there and somehow I've lost mine over the last 8 months since buying it or is this the standard design? I've never noticed it before.
would appreciate comments. thanks.

Hi khoo....no, there's no grill there, and it is a problem, because not even very large rocks can take out your a/c condensor. But our esteemed moderatory, Hymee, was on the job from day 1 (or pretty soon thereafter....pretty soon after he did his a/c condensor ) and now supplies a grill .... here's the link to his website to order

It sounds fantastic - I looked up the threads on it. what a turn up! well done Timbo. The timing seems good too, I would have finished rugby season by then. At the moment though, will only be a tentative as I also may have to work over that weekend.

I think all the jokes on the 'Women' thread have corrupted me. :o
Upon reading the title to this thread I simply assumed a competing thread had been started.
Of course, it is about cars - oh well, Labrat will be happy. :p :p

:D i can see how 'front undercarriage' could imply certain womanly characteristics. you've definitely been corrupted though. who ended up winning that anyway? sounds like MissRx8 had recruited help from overseas.

Actually, hang on - Tim you're not qualified to call me sick unless it is by recognition of your own condition. You're forgetting I've not only read your smutty posts, I've also shared your company for an afternoon in sunny Canberra and surrounding environs! :p :D :D :D
