i'd doupt u can get 17kw from exaust and filter.... unlikely mate. unless he proves it by dynoing it b4 and after instalation, i wouldn't trust such claims

Hymee can trick the dyno and claim his exhaust gain 13kW at the wheel. Being a honest decent gentleman like our King Hymee, he only claim 2kW increase in his highly refined product :p

I saw 19kW quoted for cat-back and air cleaner, in a nationally published magazine. Does that mean it is even better??
I think L&L is right on the money for hoisting that flag.
I have published dyno charts showing how you can get ~8HP gain just by letting your powertrain get really nice and hot!
BTW - This reminds me of something I read in the article on the RotarMaster turbo prototype. See this thread/post https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...759#post408759
