I can't believe people haven't posted this on here...
consistent 1/4 mile time of mid to high 14's, so the car IS indeed as fast as it's advertised ;)
Cool! Where is this track?
If someone knows, then since we have the date / time of the tests. We can see what the weather was like that day!
That would be interesting.

The testing was done at Pomona Speedway on August 7th. I'll have the track conditions soon....

This is GREAAAAT! What does R/T mean? Is there an equivalent to 0-60?

how long it takes you to leave the line. from when the last yellow light turns on till you brake the beam to get a green light. on a .500 light. you want to try and get as close to .500 as you can. as you can see all the runs they made were test runs so they were just leaving when they wanted to. to try and get a good lanch. your R/T has no affect on your 1/4 ET time. hope that makes since.

That's funny. You waste your time posting on a forum for a car you don't like.

The RT does not make a difference.
I'm surprised that they only got a 2.2 - 2.3 60'. You can improve that quite a bit in a rwd car with the right lauch.
Must be those heavy run flats then ;)

R/T = reaching time.
But what you guys don't understand is, that those cars tested are "bone stock" manuel's. Also they don't have all the "ADD ONS" that most of you have, like nav., wheels, bose stereos, body kits or anything to weigh them down.
Also, a 95' Eclipse GSX (all wheel drive - turbo) "Stock" with 210 horse power runs a 15 sec. flat 1/4 mile = at the same track and similiar conditions.
So you see you RX8's aren't that slow...........

It's actually called reaction time and only makes a difference in bracket.
Here's one from my old modded wrx

That's why I got the fasted time, but my R/T was slower, so I actually LOST the race!
