Got my recall done today. No new engine for me, but that is a good thing I guess. All they did was the PCM reflash & new leading plugs.
When I brought it in, the guy was telling me he felt some excessive vibration at idle and said the motor mounts maybe have cracked (poly urethane).
Turns out they were, so I got some new ones under warranty, and I gotta say it does idle a little smoother. I guess I never noticed cause it was either always there or had gradually gotten worse.
I had an 05 base model mustang v6 for the day, that sucked. The thing is like a truck, when I brake it just nose dives, and when I floor it, it makes a lot of noise but doesn't really go anywhere. Lots of headroom, it felt huge.
Glad to have my baby back!
