i think it'll work. i've never been a big fan of gold rims w/ polished lips on black.

Hmmm I hear what you're saying about the polished lip, because the car that sold me on the look had solid gold wheels. Not sure if I want to sacrifice the bling factor though, just something about a polished lip that does it for me.

yea now that looks tight. not saying you shouldn't go for it, because i have sf-challenges too... and i love them.

my friend had a black G35 with gold sf-challenges and it just never seemed right in my eyes, but in everyone elses it worked.

 

gold will definately work on black.

 

I'd say go for it. Gold looks good on pretty much any color excepts silver and green imho.

 

Gray and gold is pretty bad too.

 

dont know about grey and gold... but white/gold and black/gold is pretty nice :D

 

Let me restate that, gray + gold wheels = not a good look. I guess using "bad" can be interpretted as good. Oops. I'm old. :-/

 

general rule is to NOT use a combination of the medal colors...gold, silver, bronze.
