I am ordering my wheels today and am giving serious thought to having them powdercoated black becuase thats what i originally wanted. Can any photo gurus change the F1s on this thread to a black and repost on the car?

Its official, im getting these powdercoated black. Now i am fielding opinions of the next choice in the chain: gloss black or flat black? I think im leaning a little more towards flat becuase it has a little more of a race look to it.

 

i'd vote flat black too. i have 5zigen fn-01r's in flat black and i love the darth vader look. :0) where are you sending the wheels?

 

There is actually a place right by me that does all sorts of coating for industrial uses but they have done wheels in the past aswell. Its very convenient for me to have them done here, and cheap (only $50 a wheel since there is no cleaning required)

 

Kind of amazing that there was a request for these wheels chopped onto a car considering how popular they are now..

 

 

Why don't you just buy the black versions?
