View Full Version : Finally!!!!!
skuzbucket 08-25-2003, 03:20 PM Finally - Took Delivery on Friday night. Don't really give a crap about the horsepower discrepancy myself. I just love the car :)
Sunlight Silver 6MT GT - Silver on Black all around. Clear corners are on the way
bread 08-25-2003, 03:28 PM Congratulations. Looks great! I agree on the horse power issue; I have the car and know how it performs and simply love it.
brothervoodoo 08-25-2003, 03:38 PM That's one wicked picture, nice reflection off the clouds.
Awesome!! Congrats, but please post more pics, I need help getting through the next 81 days, before my Silver baby gets here.
msrecant 08-25-2003, 09:53 PM Nice looking ride!
Saw my first silver RX-8 at the dealer today. A great color (almost as good as velocity red :) ) that screams for clear corners. Post some pics when you get them installed.
skuzbucket 09-02-2003, 02:55 PM Ill have more pics tonite if I ever get home from work (bad day with a jeep.....)
my jeep that is - the 8 is Fine :)
skuzbucket 09-03-2003, 09:37 AM .
skuzbucket 09-03-2003, 09:42 AM That is the wife and the new Baby :)
allstate 09-03-2003, 09:41 PM Looks great! Congrats. Are you going to remove of the front license plate?
skuzbucket 09-03-2003, 10:13 PM Can't - State of Minnesota is REALLY picky on that one... Had it removed on my miata for only 2 days and got hit with a ticket - FUN.....
WTF!!! My plate holder is rubbing against my front bumper, I see so many others that have theirs lower like your, looks better.
I tried lowering my plate holder, but it is a no go because the bolts won't line up. GRRRRRRRR.
I wonder if my dealer put on the wrong holder??
skuzbucket 09-04-2003, 08:28 AM It is 4 little rubber "pegs" that mount in the grill itself. Ill try to get pics tonite.

skuzbucket,
excellent color choice. Can you please post some more pics of ur silver ride in different lighting conditions with all doors closed please? like, early morning/afternoon/evening/night ... asking for too much huh! :-)
skuzbucket 12-23-2003, 12:06 PM Well - my guy at Morries called me and told me about what you see in the picture next to the RX-8...
Better than snow tires???
2003 Vivid Yellow MP5
skuzbucket 12-23-2003, 12:09 PM Another...
skuzbucket 12-23-2003, 12:11 PM .
Positron 12-23-2003, 12:18 PM Skuzbucket:
I notice in your last pic that there is snow on the ground. What kind of tires are you riding? (Hope not the stocks!)
skuzbucket 12-23-2003, 12:23 PM the only snow on the roads right now is on the driveway. All of the sideroads and highways are free and clear (no ice or water).
I will only take the 8 out on sunny dry days - otherwise - MP5 or my Jeep Cherokee.
2fast_4u 12-24-2003, 11:55 PM Congrats on your car! :D

Mazda Protege 5
CERAMICSEAL 12-28-2003, 06:55 PM I was just ragging on you. I own one of these myself in my arsenal of Mazdas. Just hadn't heard it referred to that way. I kind of think of mine as an mp5 because I'm wearing the 17"wheels from the protege mp3; a car named after it's stereo system. How silly. But congrats are definitely in order. You have great taste.
SpYnalChRd81 12-29-2003, 04:56 AM That picture was in my dream.
A "non-existant" RX-8 next to my real car, the yellow Protege 5..
Oh how I wish I could look out my window and see the same thing...
course it'd be a nordic green, but that's just me
