I think that given the RX-8 is going down in power... will it also go down in price?

If so, we should have the option to renegotiate the cars price we paid.

Just my $.02.

And as I said before... I don't want a $500 credit for Mazda parts. $500 check is just fine, thanks.

the price wont go down, it still the same car + same engine

when you buy a car you dont pay for power, you pay for

engine+body+interior+tech goodies

cars with big engines cost more not because of the power they make, but because they cost more to make due to their size, same thing happened with the miata's, price did not change

thats my main concern as well.

I also think $500 is a slap in the face seeing we all paid MSRp or more and Mazda is not offering any rebates/good financing or any incentives and probably making a good $5-7k on each car...

I'd rather have a nice $1,000 Mazdaspeed exhaust delivered to my house....

The price should go down, but it won't.

Since Mazda lied about the power they shouldn't expect people to pay more for less.

This is already being discussed in other threads. No need for a new one...
