I love the vid. Nice back drop and a sweet whip but I do wish I could've been watching someone easier on the eyes! LOL I'm sure at the meeting someone mentioned that you should use a fine gyal, they were smart.

BTW how much does an LSD kit cost? Website for purchasing?

Maybe I'm a little naive here but are lambo doors supposed to make you look cool or something? Looks like a retarded waste of money to me.

How does it make you a hater to have a different opinion than someone else? MTV is obviously to advanced for your comprehension. You might try understanding your trite pop culture terms before tossing them about.

I think it's important to note that 20's somethings and urban kids have a much different concept of cool than 30 somethings and suburban adults.

I remeber being really flash when I was in my 20's with everything. Enjoy fellas. Those lambo doors are no different than the painted flames and exposed engines they used to rock in the 50's. All about attention and rite of passage.

The new gen is doin it their own way...

Lambo doors + decals everywhere + giant wing = Ricer Rating of 8.7

I could have used some more neon. Also it would have scored higher if an Asian kid with a anime haircut had gotten out of the car and performed some sort of Dragonball-Z move.

Youve got it all wrong saturn, let me school you a little.

(Ricer: from the latin word Ricarius meaning to suck at everything you attempt)

A person who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

- Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
- Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
- Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
- Expensive rims that usually cost more than the car itself
- Bodykit to make the car appear lower, usually accented with chicken wire
- Clear tail lights and corner signals
- A "performace intake"- a tube that feeds cold air to their engine usually located in areas of excessive heat (behind or on top of the engine)
- Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are imports; Honda Civics, Accords, Integras, CRXs, RSXs, Del Sols Mitsubishi Eclipses, Lancers, Subaru Imprezas, however there are some domestics such as Chevrolet Caviliers, Dodge Neons, Ford Focus; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow. Please note that some Supras, Skylines, WRX's and other higher performance imports are designed to go fast, and are therfore not always considered rice. It really depends on the severity of the case.

The "ricer" attempts to make their car "performance" by adding the modifications listed above. These ricers are not confined to any one ethnic group or color, however different ethnic groups are known for certain styles.

Honda Civics with big spoilers and 4" exhaust tips are considered to be ricers.

That being said, This car can not be called ricey since it has the power to back up the look, and does not have any company logos in which the vehicle is not sponsored by.

search the net for riced out cars you will see what they really look like.

We wanted to use a hot model, but LSD didn't want to hassle with video releases so we had to do it ourselves.
hit up LSDdoors.com and they should have price quotes on their site, I believe the kit retails for $2299.00 but you should be able to purchase it cheaper from an LSD dealer.

If you drive down the street with stickers all over your car and a big *** wing, you're at the very least tacky. They are mods with completely meaningless performance gains. Your performance mods are cool. Your stickers are teh rice. Maybe not as rice as some crap box Hondas that you described, but rice-esque for sure.

I amend my rice score to 5.2 per your appeal.

I think he has to have the stickers on there as part of a sponsorship deal. That's not rice.

It's rice if you have stickers on there and you don't actually have those parts, or you're not sponsored.

So if you go to a Formula D or D1 event and see some cars like this one sitting in the car show area or pit area are they rice too? Have you seen photos from the Tokyo Auto Salon? Those cars are all rice too right? If everyone in the import scene listened to your opinion we would have a lot of cars that look the same and there would be no need to go to car shows or see new ideas people dream up for their rides, even if they are good or bad in our own opinions.
You don't have any obligation to companies so there is no need for you to have graphics on your car but I do and it helps attract attention to the car and attention is what companies want.
I am open to everyones style because they each have their own. I have seen a lot in the import scene because I have been in it since 97.
I don't hate on anyone in the scene, If I don't like what they have done to their ride I keep it to myself. Its not my place to tell people that I don't like how their car looks because they obviously like how it looks. If someone asks my opinion I might tell them what might parts might look good on their car but I won't knock them for the mods they currently have.

P.S. Thanks for lowering your opinion of my Rice Rating I feel much better now.
