Have you noticed the RX-8's carpeting? It looks more like trunk liner fuzz to me. I would expect real carpeting to be more durable, but maybe this is something new. I was kind of surprised how cheap it looks.

It's designed to reduce road noise, and someone reported that they had another car with a similar setup which had been through a northern winter with no problems. |
