I just bought my 8 from Tony March Mazda in Hartford, CT. They have 15 (!) new 8's coming in within the next month, and would probably be willing to sell them at $500 over, if you want what they have coming in.

Check with Keith D. if you're interested. Nothing in it for me; just thought folks would appreciate the lead.

Works out to about $2300 off MSRP for my car. Depends on options; YSMV. Only fee is the normal BS dealer conveyance fee of like $169.

got mine for $135 below MSRP, but dealer tacked on $100 doc fee.

the state of indiana got me worse - $2057 in sales tax!!!! :( :mad:

Which part in Maryland? mind sharing the info? which dealer?

Just so everyone knows- I contacted both dealers mentioned in the above thread- The CT. dealer said that one ONE car was advertised at that price - which is now gone. they are getting back so me with prices - but all their cars seem to have EVERY option put in- like 6 cd plus cassette, spare kit, etc.


The Maryland deALER also said that the $300 above invoice was a specila deal and would come anywhere close to that.

The best I have done is $1000 off MSPR on a GT in westchester, NY

If you are interested in the Maryland Dealership. They will give you a very good deal ....maybe not as good as the one I got. But, I would hope to think they can beat anyones price that you have now. RX-8 2004: That's pretty funny because the Winning Blue ATX w/Sports Package RX-8, is the EXACT samething I am considering buying next week. I haven't started messing around with numbers yet because I'd be trading in my 6 for the 8.

According to Edmunds.com, the dealer invoice on a 4 speed automatic RX-8 with just the Sports Package, comes out to $25,343.

So if you paid $300 over invoice, you're saying you got your automatic 8 for just $25,643?

If so, was that the price you paid out the door, or was that just before taxes, tag, and title?

As follow-up to the "CT dealer" comment, I just bought mine last night, and they assured me that others would get the $500 over invoice price. Talk to Keith Doss, and tell him that Dave sent you. I do agree on the issue of a lot of cars are heavily optioned, but some people want that....
