Is there any other type of diode that i can use in my greddy turbo kit to keep the air pump from always running, ive found 1n4005's at my local radioshack but no 1n4007's will these work?

The only difference between a 5 and a 7 is the breakdown voltage- the 5 is 600V, the 7 is 1000V.

I don't know exactly how it's used in the Greddy setup, but chances are very, very good that the 1n4005 will work fine.

yeah, I have the radioshack 1n4005 hooked-up and they're more than adequate, they're rated at 600v as opposed to 1n4007 at 1000v. They're exactly the same except the voltage. You'll never come close to 600v for this.
