Mazdaspeed Body kits (different subject, Trust)

So I went to the near dealership around my neighborhood for an oil change.

I was talking to the service department about ordering mazdaspeed body kits and installing them here. I told them I want sideskirts, ms spoiler, and front bumper. I didn't want to get back bumper ...and
The guy told me it was almost $3800 without installation fee....

DAMN
I had no idea it was going to be that high..
I kind of went from to =(

Can somebody tell me what they paid for if they did the kits in mazda dealership??

both rosenthol and trustville have good prices on these even with shipping. i would bring in a quote from them and do some haggling on the price. its to there advantage to sell it to you cause they will also make money on the install. they are trying to charge you msrp. even if you buy it from one of those other online dealerships you can still have it installed and get the warranty.

I bought mine from a local dealership.

Front: 1220
Sides: 700

Install was 600 but that was including A/C condenser.

I wouldn't bother with a replica. MS is much better material and perfect paint match. And you can just install it yourself easy.
the spoiler is your choice, as carsoption has one that is great. I'd becareful with the fiberglass brackets though... i hate them! mine are broken.

I was wondering what happened. In some pics I saw you had a MS wing, and in others I didn't see anything.

I agree on the replica thing. I have the real MS kit and it is SOLID, perfect fit and finish. The JDM clear corner lines flow much better with the MS front as well. Looks freaking awesome.

I feel like I did when I first bought the car, making excuses to look at it or drive it somewhere.
