This is my second over winter storage of my 2004 "8". Last year she would not start and I had to tow it to the dealer. That winter My son's and I faithfully started her running her till she got to nornal temp. When we came to pull her out - no start. The dealer blamed it on a bad battery (which we replaced) and I in turn spoke to my teenage boys about enjoying the sound system while doing their "chore"
I followed the dealer instruction this winter pulled the battery etc. Today with a fully chaged battery - crank, crack and crank is all I got, same as last year.

Sounds like the clique mob deaded your rx8. I'm sorry for your loss

 

you'll get an upgraded battery and starter, problem solved

 

Just to close this - TeamRX* got it right. Towed to the dealer and they did the starter and plugs - the battery was good. I did note that when starting you can hear higher RPMs from the starter. Thanks for the assist
