Hi Guys,

Ron Jeremy here from Ajax/Pickering, ON. Well.... after much waiting and anticipation, I finally got my Black GT 6 sp w/roof (no nav) and am loving it! Picked up the car on Aug 6th from Ajax Mazda (around 9:30pm).. got some goodies installed prior to delivery:
- 3M clear bra (check out www.xpel.com and www.shieldpro.com)... this took around 3.5-4 hrs to install (definitely worth the $$)
- Tint
- Shock sensor / wheel locks
- Boomerang2 security (www.bommerangtracking.com)

Thanks to Brad (Bus Mgr) at Ajax Mazda for looking after me... great overall dealer experience... I've taken their first delivery ...they also have a Red RX-8 in their showroom (this is the owner's car). I had a black maxima before and wasnt sure if i wanted another black car ...but the black GT looks awesome! Pics to follow shortly. PS i'm in montreal this weekend in case anyone wants to meet up...

Smoker, go to www.shieldpro.com and call the phone number listed (ask for John)... he's doing a few more RX-8s (or perhaps they are completed). Ask him for the "cash deal" -- PM me if you want to know what i paid. He will come out to you (fully mobile). I did the full deal with the Clear Bra (bumper, hood, lights, mirrors, etc). hope this helps..

ZoomZoom -- the Boom2 is estimated at 1.5-2 hr job (they came to my dealer to do the job before i took delivery so pls take these numbers with a grain of salt). I also took the 2 year contract (prepaid)...

Although I haven't been waiting nowhere near as long as you (ordered in July from the dealer's allocation) I too am waiting for my car. They say end of August, early September I think it's more like end of September early October.

Looks like I missed you by about 30 minutes at the dealer. Let me know when you get back.

I'm defenitely interested in the bra. The only undecided thing for me is whether to get the hood done. Seing yours will help me in my final decision.

Looks awesome Ron...any pics of the front bumper "after" the clear bra was installed?

Any interior shots? I'm hesitant about the "tapioca" interior - saw it on a red one (from the states) and it was ummm, not a good combination.
