How about creating a sticky for recording owners pictures.

Say each member select's their favorite photo,

Need some rules to stop it getting out of hand though,

Say,
1. Set Image Size, (and format)
2. One Picture Per Owner,
3. No Commenting (people can stick to pesonal messages, stop the thread getting unnecessarily stretched)

And provide a gestapo style moderator to keep it organised.

This was already suggested to the moderators, don't know what happened though. Also, this will thread will probably get better visibility in the suggestions forum (if you haven't placed it there yet).
