Sorry to ask a couple of fairly dumb questions, but as we on the East side of the Atlantic have another 11 or so weeks to wait for our cars I have to ask you lucky owners in the US.

Can you tell me what the recommended service / oil change interval is?

Also what fuel is recommended for the car, as I have seen threads on the Australian forum about having to use Premium Unleaded as the fuel in OZ is of a lower quality to that in Europe?

oil changes between 5,000 and 7,500 depending on the way you drive it or the climate of the area you live(sorry don't have the exact wording in front of me) Premium Fuel.

edit: we have some new scanners at work i'll see about scanning the apropriate pages in a day or two when the boss isn't around if someone else doesn't do it first.

The fuel requirement might be different in the UK - remember Premium here is Crapola in Europe and elsewhere.

Also my dealer said ignore the manual and do an oil change every 3750 miles - they normally only charge $16 (£10) and include a free car wash (I pay about that just for a car wash normally). Not only that but if I do all my 'big' services (every 7500 miles) at this dealership then service visits for just oil changes (i.e. every other service) are free and I still get the free car wash. They REALLY want me to change the oil on this car often...
