TwiBlueG35 08-21-2003, 02:00 AM When is anyone going to put Ferrari 360 Modena head to head against Lamborghini Gallardo? Let me have this supercar dream: 2005 Ferrari 400 Modena 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo 2005 Porsche 911 Turbo 2005 BMW M3 2005 Audi RS4 2005 Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG 2005 Nissan GTR 2005 Acura NSX 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIIII 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI 2005 Mazda RX-7 2005 Lexus IS430 Strider 08-21-2003, 08:29 AM I noticed that on one of the sites there was a 1990 De Tomaso Pantera for sale. Didn't De Tomaso stop production of his cars back in the 70s, or was that just US sales? Strider- RobDickinson 08-21-2003, 09:03 AM Probably just US sales. Supercars.net has the last entry for this (http://www.supercars.net/cars/1991@$Detomaso@$Pantera%202g.html) in 1991 Edit :- according to http://www.detomaso.it/gb there still making cars, and still independant (the only independant Italian sportscar manufactuere). Not 100% convinced by their current cars, but as always they look like italien/american muscle/sports car. Genom 08-21-2003, 03:34 PM Last night I got to drive a 2003 911 Turbo. My fiance's fathers buddy just got one last week and was showing it off. I took it for a spin. Of course, the car hauls a lot of ass like it should, and feels real nice. But then again, it IS a Porsche and I have never had anything bad to say about them, except I hate the pricing :D And didnt have to hand over the keys to my baby, since he kinda looked down on it since it wasnt a hyper expensive exotic. Pah. At least I dont owe my best buddy 100G like he does :D |
