I installed the Audio Link for my iPod tonight (very cool!) and I dropped the anchor bolt that bolts the head to metal supports inside the dash (D'oh!). I know, I know, I shouldn't have dropped it in the first place. Too late for that now. I spent 20 minutes feeling around for it, but it fell into a black hole inside the console.

Anyone know the specs for that bolt? I looked in the manual, but no info.

I left mine out. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah. I thought about that (a lot!). It's probably not critical. It might help keep the head from getting airborne in a bad rear-end accident. But that's a really unlikely outcome.
