i was talking too mazda on the phone and i ask them if they can install the mazdaspeed body kit by the dealer .they said no and if i buy it from a after market dealer like mazdaspeed it will void my warranty so i guess i will not be getting this year rx8 i'm going to wait for the 2006 rx8 or 2005 mazdaspped version.

Your warranty can NOT be voided for modifications to the car UNLESS it can be shown the modification was the cause of the failure.

For example:

Get a body kit and the transmission goes, Mazda must fix it.

Even if you get a turbo, which is not as black and white, and you have an engine problem. Unless Mazda can show that the turbo caused the problem and the problem would not have happened without the turbo, they must fix the engine.

Tis THE LAW!

All the OEMs are putting out this dribble about any little thing will void the warranty. It's BS!

Yeah what he said...

They are just trying to slow you down bro.

If that was true I wouldnt even put a CD in the CD player because if the player broke, they might to try to blame it on my
CD HAHA I hate Dealers in general sometimes..

What if I get a turbo, blow the engine, remove the turbo such as ir looks stock and go to the warranty department? How hard to prove the turbo caused the damage?

Takes more time and effort.

You cant just throw on a turbo, it takes tunning and other parts etc... So all would have to be removed, Im sure they will look very hard.....
