TiGray Painted Calipers

I'm trying to decide on what color to paint my brake calipers. I was wondering if anyone with a TiGray could post some pics that have them painted already. Much appriciated.

I painted my calipers metallic silver and I plan to go back over them with some gloss sometime soon. I did mine this color in keeping with the "theme" I have goin' on. :

Here's a before and after:

Yeah, I like the silver, didn't think of that one. Was thinking of red, however the silver on the gray car is a nice contrast. THANKS

I have chrome & aluminum stuff on my 8 so the silver looks better than red, blue or black would have.

You're welcome!

Looks nice. The subtle look of silver on gray is cool, but if you wanna flash, go red.

I'm thinking silver for my gray but it's going to have to wait for summer. It's too cold here right now.

I did mine with a can of dupicolor high temp silver. The temp rating was 1200 degrees, so the heat really shouldn't be a problem. And the can was like $4 at walmart.

does it look good, or does it look like spray paint. I know I have seen some that look like crap, I want to have that Brembo brake look, like they were made that way.

The right color blue would look good on the caliper and rotor hub IMO... I went the easy route with red....

ALWAZL8, that looks good. Thanks for posting. Do you remember the brand of paint you used?

I was thinking silver too for my Gray 8 too. I actually got the idea because my wife's Honda Odyssey has stock silver calipers that look pretty good. So I'll be pimping my 8 to look more like a minivan.

I think it was Dupicolor, however I'm not positive that was the brand. I can check when I get home though. It's the kit that is sold at AutoZone & O'Reilly Auto Parts. The paint in the kit isn't a spray, it has to be brushed on. I plan to go back and do a gloss coat over mine sometime in the near future since I just got custom chrome rims.

I had Red calipers on my TiGrey RX-8. It looked great until I boiled the paint when heat cycling my pads! Now they're a lovely shade of reddish-blackish-brown
