I searched for a DIY for a boost controller, but seems unless I missed it, no one has done one. Well I'll try to do a writeup this weekend while installing myne. Wish I had gotten that electrical manual now. Not 100% sure where TPS and Speedometer wires are. I know TPS is at TB and gas pedal, and I read in another post the only speedo wire is at the tranny, but it would be nice to have some exact wire colors, and maybe a pin number at the ecu so I can grab all of those wires at one place.

What are you installing? The E-01?

I think I'm going to go with the Apexi AVC-R. It supposed to be easier to use than the E-01 and does pretty much all the same stuff.

I ment to write one. I even took pictures during my install. I guess I forgot though. I'll see if I still have a copy of the pics.

That would be great! I will probably go for the Greddy Boost controller b-spec II.

yea, the profec is way easier to install. connect 12v +/-, mount the solenoid, run the lines, connect the solenoid..done. it was way easier than my HKS timer

That would be great! I will probably go for the Greddy Boost controller b-spec II.I would recommend staying away from the digital profec b spec 2, and stick to their analog units. I have the Profec B Type S, but if you can find the original Profec B that will work as well. Its alot easier to tune and work with.

that's funny you mention staying away from the profec b II. i had the same boost controller installed in my MR2 turbo and the damn thing over boosted and blew out cylinder #3. if it wasn't for the greddy profec b ii...i wouldn't be driving around in my 8. :D: thanks greddy!!!
