Smoking after flooding

Just put a new upgraded turbo on and flooded the engine priming the oil to the turbo. So I took the leading plugs out and cleaned them, followed the mazda de-flood start and the car finally cranked. Ran rough at first but seems to have smoothed out now.

I have not taken the car on the road yet cause I have some oil leaks I am trying to fix but I ran the car for a couple of minutes last night and then for about 5 minutes several times tonight and it is still smoking, white smoke.

I have read that it will smoke like crazy when flooded but for how long?

Also the old turbo dumped tons of oil in the exhaust when it went out. How long do you think it would take to burn off all that oil?

Thanks for the input!

Chris

I PM'd you about the air hoses being clogged or if a checkvalve was installed.

Also, the other time I've noticed white smoke was after starting it up after doing a leak check. Not sure if oil was able to seep through, but the smoke went away after driving a few blocks.

Should go away shortly after the exhaust reaches operating temperature. Probably less than 10 min.
