Anyone have any reccomendations?

I was driving to the airport this morning (5am) and something blue and long was laying across ~3-4 lanes of the I-5 North near El Toro. Needless to say by the time I saw it, it was too late. Lots of load noises from under the car, but it seemed to be ok. I pulled over and took a look and the passenger side from bumper was handing off, the under carridge covers were all torn up and my fog light was missing. Now I need to get it fixed. Hopefully when I get it up on a lift there will be no further damage. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I would prefere a body shot of a hot chick. Damn beer and fast typing meant body shop. Thanks for the offer though!

Are you going through your insurance or paying out of pocket ot get it fixed?

I've used Fountain Valley BodyWorks before. Good work but a little on the expensive side...

M1 autobody in El Monte was fricken awsome. I know it is quite a drive...but it was quite a drive for me in getting there from Fontana, but it was worth it.

I had some insurance work done at Snyders Autobody. I can't remember exactly where they were - I am thinking Buena Park? Anyway this was a while ago but they did a good job and it was very hassle free as far as the insurance thing goes. They even did a real good job of detailing the car when it was done :)

My insurance is covering it so cost is not an issue. I am allowed to select any shop I want regardless of price. I just have to cover the deductable.

I will check out some of these places including M1. If they are that good then it would be worth the drive for me.

I will probably take it to the dealer at some point since I need to get the car on a lift. There were a lot of terrible sounds from under the car and my see what they can do for me since I need to bring it in for the recall. I just don't trust dealers much though most in my experience are just looking to cut corners and likewise with the shops they use to suport them. But if all thing are good it will just mean a replacement bumper, air dam and fog light.

Thanks for all the info.

When I was at M1, they were doing another 8....it looked like it should have been totaled but wasn't. They have a lot of tools there. They were putting the 8 on the frame rack to starighten it up. They should be able to handle all your needs there....

I guess it is all about the timing? I got my 8 back from M1 in PERFECT condition and they went above and beyond to do a good job and give me exactly what I wanted. As far as customer service goes.....I didn't have a problem. they are however still a body shop and body shops don't have a reputation for being "people" friendly. Out of the numerous body shops I have dealt with, M1 was once of the friendliest.......to me that is
