Is there a way to revert to older flashes?

I am installing my greddy kit and have heard it runs best with the M flash. Before i got the kit, i did the recall stuff and they flashed my ecu, so i think it's on r. Jw if there is any way to go back to m incase the turbo does not run well with r, thanks.

Yep, that is the only way. There is no way to tell what you've got until you've installed it though. Then you'll need to tell the dealer not to reflash it every time you go in for a service.

I guess i gotta hope that the emanage doesn't mind the flash I have. Kinda blows though cus i was on M the whole time until about a month before I ordered the turbo.

actually that wont work. you cant take an ecu out and put it in another car -some of the other can modules will not talk to it. if you have trouble just get your greddy tuned as that would bemuch cheaper even if the other way worked.

the only way to go back on ecu levels is to have the service center "re-ghost" their wds which is basically wiping it back to where you want your car to be. then wipe your pcm and then reload it with the reghostd wds. time consuming and costly. also potentially hazardous to your vehicle and you if they remove programming that was done for safety reasons- like the recall
