...You should swing by Oct 23 and check it out. It's free to watch and, if you'd like, I'll give you a run in my car.
Alex:
It will be my first AutoX with th RX8....kinda skeptical but since I ddi the school of Zoom at the Zoom Zoom live on saturday I gain confidence to run the car, I'm not used to RWD since I had a WRX for over 3 yaers before geting the 8 and did AutoX that car alo with TAV Racing Team (Gustavo Gutierres) and the gang.
Hope to see you there Alex and I will take on a ride aournd the track in you're 8
Will register on Monday!

Alright, it has been re-scheduled. The following is the official announcement:
After a conference call between myself, Jim Grob and Albert Lazo, we
will wait until Friday, 11:30 AM to
make the final call if the Hialeah autocross, scheduled for Oct 23,
2005, will be held or will be postponed.
We have already scheduled a makeup date of December 18, 2005 at Hialeah
in case the event is to be
postponed.
Please realize that while everyone wants to race, Equipe Rapide is
dedicated to the safety of all participants
at an event. We will not hold the event if it's evident that our
members, participants, and spectators could be
in any jeopardy. To put it simply, yes we all want to race but
obviously it could be to dangerous under those
conditions to safely hold an event (it may start out a nice day,
cloudy/breezy, but by the afternoon... It's a
hurricane!).
We will let you know tomorrow, Friday, Oct 21, 2005 around 11:30 AM our
final decision.
Thank you,
Carl Couric

oh, and did I mention that there are hills, up to 15ft height changes, and the possibilities of banked curves...
ok... I had to use the new smilies.
For you GA guys who happen to read this. FL is FLAT, hills are typically called landfills, hence the excitement
