View Full Version : Seats Uncomfortable?

I've been watching all of the posts for first impressions of new owners, and I don't recall anyone indicating a serious problem with the seats. My car just came in, and a quick test drive raised a big flag, for me. After less than 10 minutes of driving, I've found that I don't fit the seats--hips are too wide to fit inside the fixed, and very hard, side bolsters. I'm only 6'3", 200# and otherwise fit in the car just fine but I don't have a lot of padding back there. Anybody else out there have the same problem, or is this a unique BUMM-er?

I found em quite comfy. On a test drive anyway, mine STILL isn't here. I'm only 5'9" and 160lbs though so I'm kinda small anyway.

I sat in the car in the showroom for about 15-20 minutes while the dealer was explaining the various interiors to me (still haven't gotten any seat time while driving yet). Anyway, my overall impression is that the seats will end up being fairly comfortable (I'm a mere 5'6" though) but perhaps a bit soft. The one disadvantage, I felt was that they lacked proper lateral support. Of course this was after having gotten out of my friend's Evo with it's crazy Recaro seats.

Can't speak for the manual driver's seat, but the power seat has multiple settings for comfort.

I'm 6' 230# and have no problem with comfort. Snug, yes, but that's the whole idea.

I don't have any problems with the seats. I'm 6'3" 270lbs. I just went to Six Flags New England this weekend ( 2.5hrs each way ) with a friend and both of our daughters and it was probably the most comfortable I've been driving that far.
