As the RX8 has been available for some time now (other than in Europe) why aren't there more reviews??
Expect to see the UK ones hitting the shops from the end of July.
This car must be the best kept secret ever!
Cheers

Do you mean auto magazine reviews or media reviews? It's been on the cover of every auto magazine over here and the subject of in-depth reviews, and all the auto-related web sites have covered it. It's also been in CAR, EVO, Top Gear, etc. - It couldn't possibly get any more coverage!

Gordon
Problem is that we in the UK don't see that and it seems that only a few are posted on this site.
Any indication what the release of the car plus flood of reviews have done to the demand curve in the US?

Then you haven't been paying attention! ;)
Back around March or April, the RX-8 was written up in every major UK car magazine, except perhaps What Car? (and I only exclude that because I rarely read it, and don't know if they covered it or not). I have the issues of CAR (cover story), EVO, and Top Gear that have it. There's a recent on-line review at the 4Cars UK website, and Autoexpress and EVO have reviews online on their web sites.

We are aware of those reviews, however they are all teaser reviews of pre production cars that were tested in Japan or at Laguna Seca.
What I think Oilman is asking about is where are the follow up reviews of the production models of the RX-8, especially TV based.
Also any more comparison tests and whether any magazines have selected the RX-8 as a long term drive test car.

You can be sure they are coming. Long-term tests and comparos in print format require a long lead-time to publish. Now that the PRODUCTION version has officially hit (the USA shores at least), I'm sure they are wringing them out and taking notes. I'd likely expect October issue publication.
