Ok well I took my 8 into the shop today because it was making this rattling kind of noise when I accellerated. So after they wasted a bunch of my time, they said something was loose because I am not putting in 87 octane gas (which is BS cause all I use is 91 or higher). So I told the guy that and he just kind of mumbled and said next time they arent going to fix it.

So its fine for a few minutes, and then im driving up to Red Rock to take some pics of it and it starts making the noise again. What do u guys think it could be? O and the guy said anything over 93 octane is bad (which I think is retarded), is that true?

O and btw its an automatic...and only has like 6000 miles...

It seems that automatics, stop-and-to driving and hot climates do not agree with the RX-8 engine. You should also find a more competent dealer.
